Soft Forms, Slow Bloom
This summer window installation explores the quiet rhythm of organic growth through sculptural, handcrafted forms and layered textures. Inspired by the natural world's softness and fluidity, the display reimagines retail space as a moment of pause—inviting passersby into a gentle visual narrative of transformation and seasonality.
Originally custom-made, this unit has been creatively repurposed across multiple displays, showcasing my commitment to sustainability and adaptive design. I focus on reimagining materials to extend their lifecycle, using reinvention as both a practical and conceptual tool in my installations.
Sustainable Practice
Sustainability is central to both my design and painting practices. I work with reclaimed, second-hand, and surplus materials—valuing their history and potential for reinvention. Whether in the studio or on-site, I minimise waste by reusing and reworking existing components. This approach reduces environmental impact and adds texture and depth to my work, reflecting the layered, process-led nature of my painting. For me, sustainability is as much a creative choice as a practical one.
I aim for my window displays to not only tell a story but also spotlight other independent brands whose values align with mine. For one project, I created an “In the Spotlight” window—featuring a small, independent business that shares my commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and design.
Seasonal Displays
This holiday window display features oversized present boxes, that also double as shelves, and are torn open to reveal curated elements inside. Bright wrapping, floating snowflakes, and oversized ornaments create a playful, dreamlike scene designed to capture attention and evoke the magic of the season. Soft, warm lighting adds depth and draws focus.
